The publisher and editors of the Journal of Motor Behavior are pleased to announce that effective immediately, all articles will be published online within 4 weeks of acceptance. The articles will subsequently be published in the journal’s bimonthly print edition. This ahead-of-print enhancement helps ensure that important research and analysis enters the movement neuroscience community’s marketplace of ideas expeditiously.

The journal’s ahead-of-print articles will be available to all online subscribers. Otherwise, the material will be available for purchase at MetaPress.  Each ePub article will receive an individual digital object identifi er (DOI) and should be cited when referenced as “epub ahead of print,” followed by the retrieval date.

In addition, the Journal of Motor Behavior’s editorial board has been expanded in recent months to reflect the broadened interdisciplinary focus of the journal. In particular, the board’s newly appointed consulting editors add signifi cantly to the journal’s editorial expertise in motor learning, computational neuroscience, biomechanics, experimental psychology, neurophysiology, bioengineering, and clinical applications of neuroscience.
