The Journal of Genetic Psychology is devoted to research and theory in developmental psychology across the life span. Also, articles that concern educational, clinical, cross-cultural, and comparative issues related to development are encouraged. Although the major focus of the journal is empirical research and the exposition and criticism of theory, applied and descriptive articles are occasionally published as well as brief reports, replications and refinements, and reviews of the literature.
