CRITIQUE is a peer-reviewed literary journal devoted to essays on contemporary fiction. The editors are also interested in critical essays on the fiction of significant emerging writers from any country.

Submissions should adhere to the MLA Style Manual, 2nd ed. Parenthetical documentation of sources in the text is the preferred style.

As in many traditional myths and fairy tales, the action in Proof is divided into three movements (Propp 74).
