The Germanic Review:
Manuscript Submission
The Germanic Review publishes scholarly research in all areas of German literature, culture, and theory. Articles are accepted in English or German and are peer reviewed.
Manuscripts should be submitted electronically via the Manuscript Central Web site, http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/heldref/ger. Click on the "Create Account" link at the top right corner of the page to set up an account and submit a manuscript. Please do not include your name within the actual submission. Double space the text and document primary sources parenthetically in the text. Use endnotes for all other documentation and include a works cited list. Please consult The MLA Style Manual, 2nd ed. (New York: MLA, 1998), for more details on manuscript preparation.
Once a manuscript has been accepted, the author must submit a signed copyright agreement. Heldref Publications, publisher of The Germanic Review, reserves the right to edit the manuscript for content, grammar, and style. Authors will receive one set of proofs for their review. Two copies of the journal are furnished gratis to each author.
Books for review should be sent to Barbara Mennel, Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies, University of Florida, 263 Dauer Hall, PO Box 117430, Gainesville, FL 32611-7430, mennel@ufl.edu.
