Manuscript Submission
ANQ, a peer-reviewed journal, welcomes contributions of factual articles and notes based on new research in the language and literature of the English-speaking world. Subjects in recent issues have ranged from The Canterbury Tales to "The Cask of Amontillado" to A Clockwork Orange.
Submission Details:
Submissions seldom exceed 2,500 words and must be accompanied by loose stamps and a self-addressed envelope for return of manuscript. Submissions that offer only explications de texte are not appropriate for the journal.
Manuscripts must follow MLA style, including parenthetical citations in text, endnotes rather than footnotes (if required), and an alphabetized list of Works Cited, as described in the MLA Style Manual, 2nd ed. (1998) by Joseph Gibaldi. Address correspondence regarding editorial matters to:
